hi all, well this is my first time using the computer to enhance my baking skills. i am just about to start my sourdough starter for the first time so here goes. i"ve looked through an awful lot of journals and decided which way to go but still open to ideas on making bread. well the process starts and i will be back in two weeks to tell you how i went on thanks gary

Gary, Just persevere, its so worth it in the long run, unfortunately it does become a bit of an obsession to always get a better loaf with each bake. This does happen as your starter gets more mature your loaves bake better.
