Sourdough storage

Any ideas on the best way to store your bread? I've tried a plastic lined cotton bag but the loaves go mouldy, linen bags cause the bread to dry out and turn solid! Any ideas of something breathable but not plastic?

Hi, absolutly NOT use a plastic!!

Put in paper bag and wrap to cotton or linen cloth is the best way to store any bread.

I have found success with mine by simply wrapping it loosely in a clean towel and keeping it in the same cast iron vessle that I used to cook it in (cooled completley, obviously) with the lid on.
