Companion Bakery

Companion Bakery is an organic wood-fired sourdough bakery based in Oatlands, Tasmania. Central to the bakery's philosophy is the use of organic flour and locally sourced ingredients.

We are located opposite Callington Mill, a Certified Organic Georgian wind mill. Grain and flour is sourced locally wherever possible, with Spelt being the most reliable milling grain in Tasmania.

Baking Classes are held regularly using the same baking space as our professional bakers. Sourdough baking is a beautifully simple craft and we do our best to inspire both home and professional bakers.
